Kristal Carter McCray, formerly of Alabaster, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014. Kristal is preceded in death by her father, Rick A. Carter. She is survived by her beloved friend, partner and caretaker, Mark Bossert; parents, Rebecca and Todd Burnley, and Carla and David Tidmore; son, Brenden McCray; sisters, Tiffany (Raymond) Zorn, Ashlie (Luke) Cassidy, Alyssa Carter, Anna Carter and Abigail Carter; grandparents, Robbie Carter Statham (John), Mary Grace Jones, Charles A. (Sandee) Meeks, Jr. and Norma J. Meeks; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The life celebration for Kristal will be at 11:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, with burial following at Still Memorial Cemetery in Alabaster. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
