Two years ago you were fighting "C". 
Missing you, but I know you are around me often. I pray for Steve and the boys as they go through another Holiday season. You are their angel.

She was an excellent school direct for the day school. My son loved her and she is greatly missed.

Hey Steve, I don't know if you still look at this page any more, but I wanted to tell you how sorry I am about Laura.  She sounded like a wonderful woman.  You and your boys were very lucky to have her in your lives.  I can only imagine how lost you must feel.  But you should also feel blessed for the time you spent together.

Fellow Woodham HS friend, Corky Cruz, told Mark Cleveland who forwarded the sad news to me.  Even though I don't think I've seen Laurie since I graduated in 1977, I was always very fond of her.  It was inspiring to read of her life's many accomplishments.  It was also heartwarming to read all of these posts, many from other HS friends.  Laurie was very special!

She was beautiful and sweet!  I am so sorry for your loss!!

Because of a chance discussion I had with Laurie, my grandson is now an enthusiastic student at RDS. She was an angel for us that day and thereafter. Yes, her impact on the children will carry through many lifetimes.

I had the pleasure of attending High School with Laurie. We shared fun times on Teen Board and especially in Marine Biology class. She was a beautiful, intelligent and loving friend.  My prayers are with you at this time.

I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Laura's passing. I first met Laura in  the 9th grade in high school and had a dance class with her in college.  She was such a wonderful person and always smiling.

I was stunned to read of Lauries passing in the bulletin this morning. Nancy Harper made a touching announcement as well. I had no idea what Laurie and your family had faced recently. I will miss her wonderful smile and spirit always displayed at the ball park or day school. She was truely special.

As hard as each of us will try and describe what a wonderful and loving person Laurie was...there just are no words. She was very special and one of a kind. My prayers of comfort to her family in the days ahead.

I went to highschool with Laurie, was on Teenboard with her, and spent MANY days on Pensacola Beach with her!! One of the most sweet and giving souls I've ever met! I have no doubt that her legacy of kindness will be passed on to many. So sorry for your loss~ May God richly bless you with fond memories.

Laurie and I met when we were small children and back fence neighbors and became the best of friends. We spent countless days back then in our playhouses and teaching school to our Barbies and stuffed animals.  We are so very sorry and hope that your wonderful memories of her will comfort you. I was on the cheerleading squad at Brentwood Middle School and Woodham High School. I remember All of the squad practicing at her house. Laura was so smart and fun to be around. She will be missed. My prayers go out to her family!

I met Laurie in 2011 at RDS after learning of the great program she had in place for preschool, and enrolled my daughter. She was a loving light to children, parents & friends. Her memory will remain in the hearts of so many. Prayers of peace for your family.

My family was so sorry to hear of Laurie's passing. She was Dalton's last teacher in the dayschool. He is now 13 and my daughter knew her from her director position. She was a truly beautiful person and will be greatly missed. Praying for your family. My God bless you and comfort you during this difficult time.

Keeping Laura family and friends in my prayer's, she was such an awesome person, I went to Woodham with her and always remember her smiling.

Bob and I remember Laurie so fondly. She was my first "real job" boss at Cordova Mall after college, and I've always been grateful for that...she was my mentor, and a fun and beautiful friend. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So sad to learn of Laura's passing.  

Although I didn't know her very well, I remember she was always so kind and sweet at Woodham and on Teen Board.
