

Linda was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1947. She grew up in Linden, New Jersey with her parents, Joseph and Helen Krynicky, and her brother, Joseph Robert Krynicky. Linda attended Linden High School before earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Special Education from Jersey City State College.
Linda met the love of her life, Richard, in Pt. Pleasant, New Jersey. The two were married in 1972 and built a life centered on family, faith, and fun.
Linda spent many years working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama where she was employed as a Senior Refund Analyst. She was known by colleagues and friends alike for her kindness and warm spirit.
Linda was very devoted to her church community at Helena Methodist Church where she was actively involved in many different groups and committees.
A woman of boundless creativity and heart, Linda loved sharing her many hobbies with her friends, family, and community. Over the years, she expressed her artistic spirit through toll painting, knitting, crocheting, air brushing, embroidery, napkinizing, candy making, balloon twisting, and clowning. She especially cherished her time volunteering at Alabama Children’s Hospital where, as LindyLou, she brought comfort and joy to patients and families. In recognition of her compassion and dedication, she was recognized by Children’s Hospital as Clown of the Year in 2010.
Linda had a whimsical spirit and lifelong love of Disney. She delighted in spreading magic and joy wherever she went. She loved bringing friends and family along on Disney trips, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and wonder. She was known for “pixie dusting” unsuspecting guests at the parks and for spoiling her grandchildren with surprises, crafts, and shared adventures.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen; her father, Joseph; and her brother, Joseph.
Linda is survived by her husband, Richard; two wonderful sons, Thomas and Ronald (Kristy); and her five grandchildren, Katelyn, Mary-Addison, Emma, Skylar, and Sawyer, whom she adored. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Helena Methodist Church on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 3 p.m., with visitation from 2-3 p.m.
