Lois Benton Cassels, born August 11, 1922, passed away June 2, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Emmett Benton and Regina Gregory Benton and her husband of 65 years, Richard Emil (Pat) Cassels. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Cassels Klyce (Robert William Klyce), son, William Henry Cassels (Rebecca Outlaw Cassels). She is also survived by her grandson, Derek Benton Cassels and her granddaughters, Anna Christine Cassels and Elizabeth Paige Cassels. The family would like to give special thanks to the ladies of St. Martin in the Pines, Rawlinson House, for the loving care she received while living there. A graveside service will be held at Southern Heritage Cemetery at 11:00am on Monday June 6. In Lieu of flowers the family request a donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or DCH Foundation, Inc. or your favorite charity.
