Margaret Lane Bunn

BUNN, MARGARET LANE Margaret Lane Morse Bunn, 85, went home to the Lord on May 3, 2011. Born to Samuel Victor Morse and Willie Mae Daniell Morse in 1925 in West Blocton, Alabama, she graduated from West Blocton High School in 1944. Further studies included workshops and Early Childhood Education classes at Samford University. She was a beloved Kindergarten Teacher at South Roebuck Baptist Church for many years. Currently, she was a member of North Shelby Baptist Church. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Hugh Dorsey Bunn, and son, Patrick Wayne Bunn. Survivors include daughters, Jennifer Parker (James) and Eva Shepherd (Don); daughter-in-law Sylvia Bunn; sisters Ann Wells, Elizabeth Thompson (Coleman) and Barbara Knighton (Larry); grandchildren - David Wayne Blizzard, Patrick Hugh Bunn, Charles Mann, Sam Mann (Melanie), and Jason Mann (Denise ); Joe Parker, Jeri Mercier (Pat), Jonathan Parker (Ashley), Joshua Parker; great-grandchildren: Charlie, Andrew and Parker Mercier; Brennan Lee Parker; Collin, Christian, Abigail, Macie, Mikaya and Nathaniel Mann; special nephews Joe Thompson and Eduardo Carriazo; extended family Kristine Ledlow (Doug), Douglas, Kellen and Mitchell Ledlow; Sam Shepherd (Nicole), Kayla, Sammy, Nicolas and Grayson Shepherd; Kimberly Robison (Eddie), Taylor and Carter Robison. Memorials can be made to: Tiny Blessings at North Shelby Baptist Church 4100 Belcher Drive Birmingham, AL 35242 Services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011, 2:00 pm, with visitation prior to the service at 1:00 pm, at North Shelby Baptist Church, 4100 Belcher Drive Birmingham, Alabama.
