Margie Lou NeSmith White

Margie was predeceased by her husband, Richard Belton White, Sr.; parents, George Grant NeSmith and Gladys Atkins NeSmith; sister, Irene Reed; and brother, William "Norman" NeSmith.

Survivors include Margie's two daughters, Debbie Seritt and Diane Gearhart (Jerry); two sons, Terry Grant White (Joyce) and Richard Belton White, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Michelle Dolby, Brian White, Gary Seritt, Jr., Kristy Reynolds, Jennifer White, Raychel Collins, Anabelle Gearhart, and Jared Gearhart; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to UAB physicians Dr. Jack Hasson and Dr. Stephen Podwig for the exceptional care you provided for our mother. You gave us five extra years with our beloved mother, and for that we are eternally grateful.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, and the funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the funeral home's chapel in Pelham. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
