Margie Christine Rogers of Hoover, Alabama, born October 13, 1922, passed away at the age of 87 on Friday, October 8, 2010. She was a member of Hoover Church of Christ. Preceded by her husband of 66 years, Lawrence H. Rogers Sr. Survivors include a son, Lawrence H. Rogers Jr. of Pelham, Alabama; grandchildren, Kristi Rogers-Raley (Steve) of Helena, Alabama, and Lawrence H. Rogers III of Pelham; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, and Emily Raley of Helena; and brother, Charles Tuggle (Jean) of Trussville, Alabama. The family would like to express great appreciation to Margie's caregivers, Cathy, Catherine, Hope, and Faith. Visitation will be at Deaton Funeral Home in Dennis, Mississippi at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2010. The graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis.
