MCRAE, MARK WOODS, 60, of Helena, Alabama passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. The Anniston, Alabama native worked in engineering. He was an avid Alabama football fan who, in his spare time, enjoyed building furniture, raising three children, and having fun with his animals. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. "Mac" McRae of Anniston; and two brothers, Tim McRae and Mike McRae of Anniston. Survivors include Mark's wife, Karen Wester McRae; two sons, Kyle John Kulas and Karson Allen Kulas; one daughter, Kathryn Peggy Kulas; one brother, Chris McRae; sister-in-law, Kathy Wester Smith (Rick); and nieces, Brittany Lynn Smith and Madison Leigh Smith of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. memorial service on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The family expresses special thanks to Shelby Baptist Medical Center's MICU group for their extraordinary care during Mark's illness.
