Marsha Belinda Henderson

Marsha Belinda Henderson, age 63, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, Allen Marshall Long and Norma Claire Long of Birmingham, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert Henderson; daughter, Tracy Henderson Pool; son, Brian Kent Henderson; and two grandchildren, Caroline and Matthew Henderson.

Born on February 21, 1952 in Anniston, Alabama, Marsha attended Barry High School and Jacksonville State University. She had a successful career as a talented and creative artist.

Marsha had a passion for the arts and enjoyed playing the piano, painting, and creating designs for children's clothing. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren. She was a selfless and loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Marsha enjoyed the beauty in life and was devoted to God. She was a member of Valleydale Baptist Church for many years.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by the 2 p.m. Celebration of Marsha's Life in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Burial, Southern Heritage Cemetery.
