She was born June 9, 1937, to parents, William Joseph Gothard and Roberta Bean Gothard. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman Phillip Howard; and her brothers, Bobby Gothard and Hollis Gothard.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa; Rebecca (Jon); and Chrisie; grandchildren, Emily (Nathan) and Jon Michael (Caitlin); great-grandchildren, Abigail; Sam; Bailey; and Heidi; sister, Shirley (David); and brother, Raymond (Becky); along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.
