

Sue attended Auburn University and the University of Montevallo, Alabama. She retired from BellSouth as an information operator.
Family and friends will remember Sue for the unconditional love she consistently showed toward everyone, especially her children and grandchildren. She generously donated her time to the Salvation Army Auxiliary, and she was a faithful attendee and participant in worship services and Sunday school at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Birmingham, and most recently at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Vestavia Hills.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Embry Wyatt; and her parents, Julius Brown and Bertha Cooper. She is survived by her two children, Walter Wyatt (Cindy) and Susan Wyatt Masterson; and four grandchildren, Brian Masterson, Sharon Masterson, Lindsey Masterson, and Nathan Wills.
Sue's family will greet friends on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama from 1-2 p.m., followed by A Service of Remembrance at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
