Megan Nicole Bean

Megan Nicole Bean, 23, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on June 13, 2026. She was born to her loving parents, Tim and Julie Bean, on July 17, 2002, in Phoenix, AZ. Megan was a graduate of Oak Mountain High School, class of 2021. She went on to complete the Falcon Flight Program at the University of Montevallo in 2022.

Megan enjoyed working at Chick-fil-A at the Valleydale location for 2 years and loved every second of it. She loved her family, the family dog, Harley, and spending time with friends. Megan enjoyed a good game of Alabama Football, Harry Potter, The Dallas Cowboys, Hello Kitty, Marvel, and Pokémon.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Roy Theo Preston Jr.

Megan is survived by her parents, Tim and Julie Bean, her sisters, Mallory and Darcy Bean, her grandmother, Margie Preston, her paternal grandparents, Donald and Helen Bean, her uncles, Chris Preston, Keith Preston (Joyce), Kenneth Preston, and her cousins, Michael Preston and Noah Preston.

In Megan's honor, we invite everyone to wear bright colors, especially her favorite color, pink!

Her celebration of life will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Graveside to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
