Mike Bennett, age 58, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. He was born in Montgomery, AL on September 4, 1964. Mike graduated from Berry High School and attended The University of Montevallo on a baseball scholarship. After college he served in and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mike had a great love for football and especially baseball. Mike enjoyed a successful sales career in the steel industry.
He is survived by his parents, Shirley and Bob Bennett, Sister; Becky Bennett, Children; Ashley Perkins (Nick), Casey Bennett (Kelly), and Brooks Bennett, Grandchildren; Bennett and Bodie Perkins, and the mother of his children, Laurie Bennett.
A visitation for Mike will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service beginning 2:30 PM. 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
