Gray, Myra Joy Smith, age 100, of Hoover, passed away on August 23, 2023. She was a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church and the Fellowship class. Myra retired from Bell South as an office assistant, after 30 years of service. She was married to Jack Gerald Gray on September 16, in Birmingham, Alabama.
In her leisure, she enjoyed decorating, church, and family.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nancy Gray, and grandson, Austin J. Gray.
A graveside service for Myra will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Southern Heritage Cemetery, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
