

She was employed at Birmingham Saw Works for several years as an administrative assistant. In her leisure, she enjoyed painting, knitting, playing Bridge, sewing, camping/RV-ing, travel, and singing in the choir. She was a member of the local Garden Club and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She was a member of Dodson Memorial Presbyterian Church, Union Community Church, and Asbury United Methodist Church.
Nan was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Crawford; her mother, Clarice McMillan; her father, Eugene McMillan; and two brothers, William "Bill" McMillan and Harold McMillan.
Nan leaves to cherish her memory: Two daughters and one son, Nancy Crawford DeLamar (Gary DeLamar), Karen Crawford Hildebrand (Ron Hildebrand), and Jack Scott Crawford; and her grandchildren, Stephanie DeLamar Smith, Lori DeLamar Garrett, Neil Altensee, Austin Horne, Matthew Crawford, and Sara Grace Crawford.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham, Alabama from 1-2 p.m., followed by A Celebration of Life for Nan at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Burial will be at Union the Church at Chelsea Park in Wilsonville, Alabama.
