Olen L Vickery

Olen Luckey Vickery, age 71, of Helena, AL, passed away May 30, 2019, after a long illness. Olen was a retired branch manager with G.E. Supply where he worked over 42 years. He loved golf, fishing, Alabama football, and his family.

Olen is preceded in death by his parents, John Porter and Sarah Frances McCall Vickery; sisters, Sandra Boothe and Vanetta Holder. Olen's family includes his loving wife of 49 years, Terri Jones Vickery; children, Brandy Downey (Shaun), and Braxton Vickery. His beloved grandchildren are Ashton Vickery and Bowman and Brayden Downey.

The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice for all their care and support. A celebration of life will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 858 Kent Dairy Road, Alabaster, AL, 35007, officiated by Father Eric Mancil. Service time will be Saturday, June 15 at 2:00 PM.
