Oliver C. Graham

Oliver was born in Laurel, Mississippi to Jessie Meyer Tisdale Graham & Joseph Alfred Graham, Sr. on September 16, 1931, where he attended Laurel High School. He married Gala Reese Collins on November 6, 1949 in Laurel, Mississippi. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and received his MBA from Samford University. He worked in printing management for many years after serving in the Naval Reserve. He was a 57 year member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, and his favorite hobby was watching his grandchildren grow up. He loved working outdoors in his yard, was always positive, upbeat, and looking forward and was extremely proud of his life and family. He was married for 68 years to the love of his life.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Joseph Alfred Graham, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Gala; son, Dante (Nancy) Graham; daughter, Shane (Bryan) Yokley; and four grandsons, Tyler Yokley of Charlotte, NC, Austin Yokley of Dallas, TX, Spencer Graham of Birmingham, AL, and Jordan Graham of Pittsburgh, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL with visitation beginning at 1pm.
