Oliver Fred Waltman

Oliver Fred Waltman Jr., age 74, of Pelham, Alabama passed away on Sunday June 14, 2020. Oliver was born in Mississippi to his parents, Oliver Fred Waltman and Ora Jones Waltman on February 11, 1946. He is retired from Kansas City Railroad after 42 years. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. In his spare time, Oliver loved to play golf, work in his shop and make unique keepsakes for family and friends. he was active in helping Grace Klein Construction and Grace Klein Community. He will be remembered for the love he had for helping family and friends.

He leaves to cherish sweet memories his wife, Zonia Waltman; two sons, Darryl (Sarah) and Jason (Jenny); his sister, Eula Fay King; grandchildren, Amelia Grace, Sam, Denver, Will, Cole and Reid; sister-in-laws, Sue Waltman and Maria Traynaham (Jerry); one brother-in-law, Robert Hetzel (Pat) and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Fred Waltman; his brother, Allen Waltman, two sisters, Pamelia Beaver Roberts and Mary Inez Burns.

A visitation will be held at Liberty Church in Hoover, Alabama on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
