Born in Emporia, Virginia, Patricia devoted much of her life to her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also had a love and talent for decorating and creating beautiful spaces.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margarite DeForest; her husband, Joe Bowles; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Bowles and Maggie Bowles.
She is survived by her sons, Mike (Karen) Bowles and Shawn (Kelly) Bowles; her grandchildren, Stephen (Caitlin) Bowles, Thomas (Hannah) Bowles, Lola Bowles, Samantha Bowles, and Melani (Jeff) Yang; and her great-grandchildren, Aurelia Bowles, Rayne Yang, and Leo Bowles.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2026, at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 pm.
