I am so sorry for your loss. My family knew Patrick when we took Taekwondo together, about 20 years ago.

To Phyllis, Mandy, and family       May the comfort from others in this time of sorrow support you and help you to see ~ what a difference one life has made to so many, what a blessing one person could be. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know he is with his dad now watching over us.

Patrick you are so going to be missed.  Even though you were only in Illinois for a short  time, our friendship was instantaneous and remained even after you left Illinois.  It was great having a riding brother.  God be with your family during this difficult time.

My heart goes out to you and your family. A bible verse I have found of comfort is at John 6:44 which assures us that we will see our loved ones again. I know you will find just as much comfort in this verse as I have.

Our thoughts are with you all at this awful time. Patrick brought joy and happiness into your life for a short time and he will never be forgotten by anyone who knew him.  I will always remember the first time he saw snow when he was leaving London to go home to the US.We are thinking and praying for you all much love.

The world has lost a very special person. I was lucky enough to had spent part of my life with Patrick and have many cherished memories. He was genuine and kind, he just had a way of making you laugh .In my case making me feel worthy and smart, he made a difference in my life. A true friend, that I had a very special place for. I have tried many times to express my sadness and sorrow at the sudden and enexpected lose of my dear, beloved nephew Patrick.I would like to say to my sister Phyliss, my niece Mandy, Brad and family how very sorry i am.Patrick was a very out going , funny guy, and he was full of chatacter.He is now with his Dad Hoppy, who is looking after him,and I hope this eases the pain for his Mum and Sister at this very hard time.

Still can't find the words to say cousin Patrick. Even though you lived miles away I always felt close to you cause you remind me so much of my own brother. I'm so thankful for the time we had in Bama, and ill never forget when me, you and Gary were bobbing on inflatable rings on the water, having a beer and how one day you would open a bar on the lake called 'Hoppys beer and bob' :) good times. My heart is broke to hear of your passing, I watched every stage of your growing up from the little boy with the cheeky grin, to a fine young man with a heart as big as Alabama. My prayers go out to Phyllis Mandy Brad Garret Molly and Lillian.  You are now  with your dad Hoppy, watch over Phyllis and Mandy and help them through this very hard time.

Patrick words can not express how i feel i still can not believe it,i remember when myself John and Robert went over to visit from Ireland,can not believe that was 1994 all i know is that we had a brilliant time Phyliss, Hoppy, Mandy, and of course Yourself were very good,and when you came to Ireland we had some laugh with you bringing you to where John sang, one or two of the pubs a bit rough but you survived that would be the bit of Irish in you, plus you had your uncle John to look after you,Phyliss and Mandy, Patrick is with Hoppy now and my heart goes out to both of you, take care of each other Brad and the three children thinking of you all xx

To the Hopkins family: I did not know Patrick, but my son Brandon passed away a year ago, so I can personally relate to your loss. I'm a classmate of Patrick's from middle school and high school. Was a great guy that I know will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers for his family and all affected.

Patrick. You were an amazing light in my life. You never judged, you never failed me as a friend. My life will not be the same without your loving spirit being here with me. Your laugh was unmistakable and your genuineness was rare. There's no one like you Patrick. Your one of a kind. I feel honored and blessed to have had you in my life. We lost touch a few times but always came back to each other and it always seemed like we never missed a beat. That's what true friendship is. It's forever and lasting always. I love you more than you ever knew. Life is so short so I know I'll see you soon. I know you're with God and looking down on us. It brings me comfort to know your by his side but I won't stop missing you and wishing you were with me until I see you again. I love you babe. Forever and Always.

My condolences to the Hopkins family.  I knew Patrick in 1998, and I went to his sister's wedding and the entire family was there from Ireland and here,  I remember a family that was full of love.  You are all in my prayers during this time.
