While I know Barbara I did not know her husband. However having grown up in Panama and at one time being a neigbor to Barbara I know that she picked a man of stirling qualities for her life long companion. My prayers are for for Paul and for these he left behind.

Paul and I got re-acquainted while I served as President of the University of Montevallo, 1977-88. It was always a treat to see him and to discuss old AU days. I extend my condolences to his family, whom I did not know well. You are in my prayers.
