Phil was a very special guy who brought a ray of sunshine into the lives of all who knew him-- and he was a talented professional committed to quality work at ERI/Oakstone. He came along at a time when ERI desperately needed someone to help us move from "cut and splice" manual tape editing to the new world of digital audio editing. Phil had the experience, knowledge and positive attitude that I as CEO was looking for. I hired him on the spot and was never sorry that I did. Over the years he helped us help thousands of doctors improve their knowledge and ability to help countless thousands of patients to live a healthier and longer life.
At this sad time I know you will take solace in knowing that Phil was loved by all he touched, but also I hope you will take pride in recognizing the wide-reaching positive impact of his work on lives of so many.

Although I never met Mr. Phil Jeffery in person, I sincerely felt so comfortable with his kindness on the phone as he helped me do my audio recordings with Oakstone. He worked with me for the past 3 years and was so patient with me and understanding. He always had an upbeat, encouraging spirit that made me feel so happy. He was an altruistic soul who truly cared for others. I will miss him dearly. Gargi Mukherji (Houston, Texas)

My heart is broken for your loss. Phil will be deeply missed by all who knew him. I am glad to have known him and to have had the opportunity to work with him and learn from him -- but mostly to call him my friend.

I worked with Phil for a number of years at ERI/Oakstone Publishing. What a gentle soul. I cannot recall hearing him utter an unkind word or a discouraging phrase, ever, during my time spent with him as a co-worker. I do, however, remember a couple of very choice Halloween costume choices he concocted that made us all laugh and laugh! Phil leaves the world a brighter place for his presence, and us privileged to have known him. I am sure I heard a train whistle when God called Phil home ...

So sorry for your loss Phil was a great person. I have loved that family since I was in 8th Grade. Phil was always there for me in High School whenever I needed him to talk to or whatever it was. I will always hold a special place in my heart for him and his boys.
