

Phillip Lee Walters, age 55, of Alabaster, AL, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026. He was born to Joe Wayne and Margaret Faye Walters on June 19, 1970. He had a career in HVAC and Refrigeration, State of Alabama contractors license for a business owner of A-WALT Maintenance and Refrigeration, LLC, and an employee of Shelby Baptist.
On September 2, 1988, he married the love of his life, Annette Lynn Walters, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and friendship. A devoted member of Riverchase Church of Christ, he found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time at his place on Lay Lake, hunting, fishing, training dogs, and traveling in his camper. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Wayne and Margaret Faye Walters.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Annette Lynn Walters, children, Phillip Lee Walters Jr. (Bailey), Aron Leonard Walters (Nicole), grandchildren, Kara Josephine Walters, Clayton Leonard Walters, Oliver Jon Youngblood, siblings, Vicky Farmer (Randy), Pamela Rainey (Timmy), Larry Walters (Tammy), Jill Henderson (Gary), 15 nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a service to follow at 2:00 in the chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. A graveside will conclude in the adjoining cemetery.
