He was born in Alabaster, Alabama on November 25, 1963. Brian attended Thompson High School and afterwards became a certified fitter and welder. He enjoyed collecting old knives, guns, and coins. His greatest joy was his family.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Robbie Carter Statham and Ralph Lavon Carter; his grandparents, Leland & Odelle Swiney; two brothers, Robert Dale Carter, and Ricky Allen Carter; nephew, Randy Allen Carter; and niece, Kristal Carter McCray.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of almost 15 years, Bessie Carter; his children, Timothy Dupree; Tabitha Oakes; Jeremy Carter; David Parks; Sara Morris; Mary Reeder; and Carrie Smith; 14 grandchildren; and his brothers, Randall Keith Carter, and Russell Lane Carter.
Visitation will be held at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Elliottsville Cemetery (Steel Memorial) in Alabaster, Alabama.
