Richard Joseph Schneider Jr.

Richard grew up in Valley Stream, New York and played little league baseball as a child. He graduated from Valley Stream Central in 1968 and he was a member of the Grace Methodist Church.

As an adult, Richard was a member of the Valley Stream Soccer Club and for many years. He coached teams for all three of his children.

Richard's family meant everything to him. He was the devoted husband of Marilyn for 55 years, as well as a loving father, father-in-law, and grandfather to 10.

As per Richard's wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

During this overwhelming time, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee. Richard was passionate about St. Jude’s and supported it for many years.
