Richard "Ricky" Neal Williams

Richard " Ricky" Neal Williams was born June 21, 1955 in Clanton, AL to Authurine Williams and James Wilson. After a brief stint in the military he returned home to be with his father who was diagnosed with cancer. Ricky, as he was known by many, was a good cook and very good painter. He often did paint jobs among many other chores for people in the community. After a short but courageous battle with alzheimer's/dementia he departed this life on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Mount Royal Tower located in Vestavia, AL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Authurine Williams and James Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving Sister, Dixye Necole Wilson and her children, Kevin Bozeman and Joy Thompson of Gilbert, Arizona. Three brothers and one sister. Three Daughters, Demita Williams and her daughter, Deauna Wright of Pelham, AL, Candace Good and her son, Treshun Dennis of Clanton, AL, Sprinkle Williams and her daughter, Davea Green of Dayton, OH. One god-daughter, Gabrielle Williams-Napier of Dayton, OH and a host of family and friends. He is also survived by the mothers of his children, Doris Williams and Shirley Christian.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mount Royal Tower and New Beacon Hospice for taking great care of Ricky during his time of need.

A special thanks to Mr. William Trimble, a dear friend of my dad who has been here throughout this journey.

A visitation will be held at Agee Brothers Funeral Home located at 907 Samaria Road, Clanton, AL, 35045, on Thursday, May 20 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Agee Memory Gardens Cemetery; Hopewell Dr, Clanton, AL 35045 at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 21, 2021. A procession will take place at 1:20 pm from E.M. Henry Headstart;413 14th St, Clanton, AL 35045, to the cemetery.
