Mr. Carter is predeceased by his wife, Emily Jeanette Sanford Carter. He is survived by his daughters, Bobbie Bunn (Ken), Lisa Cochran (Jay), and Cynthia Larkin; grandson, Cole Bunn; sister, Jean Baker; and brother, Myron Carter.
The celebration of Robert’s life will be at 2pm on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. The family will host a visitation and reception at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts to the First Baptist of Alabaster – Food Pantry.
