Robert Belton “RB” James Jr., passed away on April 24th, 2016 at the age of 95. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Belton Sr. and Mary Alice James; 4 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 76 years Frankie James; children, Robert (Sandra) James, Mary (Lane) Blankenship, Betty (Steve) Morrison, Michael (Beverly) James; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. RB was a machinist by trade, and served in the Navy during WWII as a machinist. He was a member of the Civitan Club and was a very active member of Beachwood Baptist and Wilsonville First Baptist where he was a deacon. RB loved sports, fishing, and Alabama Football. There will be a Celebration of Life service at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday the 27th at 1pm with a visitation starting one hour prior. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olive, AL.
