My family grew up with Paulins on Pine Crest Drive in Vestavia. Our parents were friends. I have so many memories of those Paulin boys. I’m so sorry to hear of Roberts’ passing. Your family is in my family’s prayers. Blessings to you all during this sad time.

A sweet, heartfelt message (update) from Robert last year that goes to show his bond with Sara, whether enjoying riding bikes or watching her play soccer.

In a nutshell, she occupied a huge place in his heart.

Now and forever, he will occupy a deep place in his loved ones hearts.

Early afternoon, I came out of my house with camera in my hands and soon after were greeted by Robert enthusiastically.

With tremendous joy, he mentioned about Sara’s birthday gift. A beautiful, Silver, pendant necklace that he gifted her for her 7th Birthday.
Of course, Sara was jumping with joy and thrilled!

I knew there and then, I had to take Sara’s pics with this precious gift so her Pop could also treasure her Images later on.

After a little while, she sat in the grass holding the necklace with loving eyes.

Never did I realize, that particular encounter with Robert and these Images of Sara would be priceless, treasured by myself ( & his family) instead of him, today.

Always full of life...always finding something to smile or laugh about.

Another one of those candid moments treasured, chatting with Jonathan and Jonathan’s Dad towards the end of Sara’s Birthday Party.

Sara was mostly busy playing with her friends throughout her Birthday Party but, when she made sweet little stops to chat with her family or friends, I did my best to capture those moments.
This is one such Story Sharing Loving Moment.
Equally loving is the light and smile visible in her Pop’s eyes for her!

I have so many beautiful memories of Robert from the short amount of time that I knew him, some treasured In messages and others, In-Person.

I’ll share some here.

He was so full of life. I enjoyed listening to his life experiences and stories.

I’m sure he is enjoying, sharing one of his stories here too...

I'm sharing the last photo taken of us, together. It was on my Birthday, last October. Robert was always the life of the party..."holding court" with his funny stories, and sharing countless sweet experiences of time spent with his precious granddaughters! I'll miss him for a million different reasons 💙
