Robert Bob D. Sullivan

Sullivan Robert Devon (Bob), age 80 passed away on December 9, 2012. Bob attended Tech High School in Memphis and Lambuth College in Jackson Tennessee. He worked for Sears Roebuck from 1956-1976, part owner of Western Sizzlin’ from 1976-1978, owner of Sullivan Enterprises from 1980-2004 and was on the Pelham City Council from 2007-2008. Bob was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Sandra Ann; children, David, and Farris; brothers, Elbert JR and James (Frog); grandchildren, Mary, Michael and Mollie; and his beloved dog Sugar Baby. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held on, Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11:00am (Visitation at 10:00am) at Briarwood Presbyterian Church.

We got Pelham High School started in 1974. Those were some good years. Bob was always upbeat and positive.

Bobby and I go back to the 1940's when we both lived in the Binghampton area of Memphis. He was a great friend.

When we lived in the Chandalar South neighborhood in Pelham Bob and Ann lived behind us. He was a great friend that was always upbeat and the source of a lot of great humor. Truly a person I always looked forward to seeing. Believe me I can tell you so many truly funny stories about Bob.
