

Robert Glenn Williamson was born on October 18, 1946, in Laurel, Mississippi, to the late Lou Coulter Williamson and John Wilton Williamson. Robert was united in holy matrimony to Ruby Warlick on May 31, 1978, in Montgomery, Alabama. Their union was blessed with two children. Robert devoted more than 30 years of service to the USDA, where he worked as a Federal State Supervisor. Robert lived a full life filled with adventure. He loved fishing, being on the water, spending time with family and friends, and he loved a good time and a great story.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lou Coulter Williamson; his father, John Wilton Williamson; his brothers, Wiley Williamson, Jimmy Williamson and Roger Williamson. Sisters, Margaret Rogers, Louise Sanford, Shirley Keys and granddaughter, Taylor Ann Scott.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Ruby Williamson; his children, Kem Mikels (Brian) and Ashley Harley (Nick); his grandchildren, Kasey Scott, William Harley, Samuel Harley, and Kylee Richards; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
At this time, no funeral service is planned. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date in his beloved Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Details will be announced by the family once arrangements have been finalized. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Mississippi Wildlife Federation in Robert’s memory.
