Rosalie D. G Campanotta

age 85, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully after a long illness at home on August 28, 2011. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church since it was established. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a Pizitz\Saks associate for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Constance DiGiorgio, sister, Constance Lusco and Brother John DiGiorgio. Survivors: Sons, Felix J. Campanotta and Sam Campanotta. Brother, George S. DiGiorgio (Eva). Sister, Sammylie Kurtts (George), brother-in-Law Dominic Lusco. Numerous, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Joyce Hopper, caregiver as well as the staff at Wiregrass Hospice.. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church August 31, 2011 at 10:00am with burial in Southern Heritage. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 5-7 at the Church with a Wake Service at 7:00. Donations may be made to Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
