Rose Lofton was preceded in death by her Husband, James Mack Lofton, Jr., father L.V. Sharp, her mother Minnie Faye Sharp, her brother L.V. Sharp, and sister Loretta Monts. She is survived by her sons James Mack Lofton III, and Robert Murray Lofton (Debbie), her grandchildren Ashley Lofton, Tyler Lofton, Rachel Morrison, and Brooke Lofton.
Rose was a member of Canterbury UMC, United Methodist Women, the Antiquarian Society, and a charter member of the Cherokee Bend Rose Garden Club.
A memorial service for Rose will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Canterbury United Methodist Church, 350 Overbrook Road, Mountain Brook, AL 35213. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:30 in the parlor at the church.
