Rose Marie Sicola

Rose Marie received her formal education at Ensley High School in Ensley, Alabama. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church for over 50 years. On March 11, 1977, she married the love of her life, Cosmo Sicola, in Birmingham, Alabama. Their union was blessed with three children and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Rose Marie worked at UAB as a pathology billing specialist for 10 years. She was known for her dedication to her family, her faith, and her community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cosmo Sicola, to whom she was married for 45 years, as well as her parents, Jasper and Phania Carbonie.

She leaves three children to cherish her memory, her daughter Lisa Ardovino, sons Michael Sicola (Amanda) and Tony Sicola (Renee); her beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth Findley (Kaleb), Stephanie Lorino (Sam), Zac Sicola (Bailey), Natalie Ardovino, Cody Sicola, and Jake Sicola. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Ginger Carter (Tim), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dominican Monastery of St. Jude, 143 County Road 20 East, Marbury, AL 3605.
