Sally received her formal education at Millport High School. She furthered her education at Delta State Junior College in Mississippi. Sally was a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church and First Christian Church. Sally was married to M. Gaillard Frederickson on August 25, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia. Their union was blessed with one child.
She was employed by Southern Bell Telephone as an accountant. In her leisure, she enjoyed playing Bridge, garden club, quilting, and cooking. She was also a volunteer at Brookwood Medical Center.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, M. Gaillard Frederickson; her parents, John Harvey and Ellen McDaniel Porter. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Dr. Robert Frederickson; and grandchild, Amy Frederickson Halliwell.
A private graveside was held for Sally at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
