Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, immediately followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham.
Sam was predeceased by his parents, Pete and Josephine Pillitteri; and four sisters, Annie Pillitteri, Rosalie Alfano, Teresa Leon, and Virginia Tortorici.
Survivors include Sam's loving wife, Antoinette Sicola Pillitteri; one daughter, Donna P. McKay; four sons, Peter Pillitteri, Charles Pillitteri , Sam A. Pillitteri Jr. (Patricia), and Joseph Pillitteri (Christy); six grandchildren, Michelle Brooke McKay, Elizabeth Hope McKay, Grace Elizabeth Pillitteri, Matthew Sam Pillitteri, Michael Joseph Pillitteri, and Mark Andrew Pillitteri; and three sisters, Marie Tortorici, Nancy Zito, and Josephine Vizzinia.
