To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Sandra left her body on October 9, 2022, after a steady decline since a stroke two years ago.
Born January 25, 1939, to Jack and Armell Lovell in Knoxville, TN, Sandra was a proud alum of Central High School where she was a majorette. After attending the Univ. of TN, she married her high school sweetheart Jack White of Fountain City. From that union brought her two loving children (and survivors), children Autumn (Clifford) Druit (and granddaughter Elizabeth) of Alabaster, AL, and Greg (Ann) White, of Saint Louis, MO.
Over the years, Sandra managed a tennis store in Dallas, TX, and returned home to Knoxville in 1988 to own and operate the Cookie Bouquet for several years before retiring to Naples, FL with her second husband, Jack Thomas of Knoxville.
Sandra was an excellent tennis player in the 70s and a golf enthusiast in her later years with Jack in Naples, where the two traveled the world, lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed all that God had granted.
