Sherry M. Knight, 60 of Helena, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Sherry was born on April 21, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky. She loved her family and friends dearly. Sherry survived an accident in August of 1999, which caused her to face many obstacles throughout the rest of her life. She kept her zest for life and was a fighter even after her 26 surgeries. She always found positives out of her circumstances, even until her battle with cancer ended last Sunday. Sherry will be greatly missed.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dorothea Martin; brother, Dale Martin; and sister, Kimberly Carroll. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Kenneth D. Knight; daughter, Michelle Priddy; grandchildren, Brooke, Kaden and Lacy; great grandson, Silas; and sisters, Dianna White (Barry) and Tina George (Damon).
The celebration of Sherry's life will begin with a visitation on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5pm until 7pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1pm, also at the funeral home. Sherry will be laid to rest at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
