Shirley graduated from Homewood High School and then graduated from Birmingham Southern with a bachelor's degree in early childhood development.
Shirley will always be remembered as a person with a deep and genuine faith. Her passions included bible study, teaching music (She had a beautiful voice), her family, and her relationship with God. Her life was filled with love for others, joy and simple pleasures.
She is survived by loving nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A graveside service for Shirley will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cahaba Heights Cemetery, Vestavia Hills, Vestavia Hills, AL 35243.
