Shirley V. Wilson

Shirley Vincent Wilson, age 87, of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 15, 2020. Shirley was born to J.D. and Victoria Baird on December 14, 1932 in a small town near Gilmer, TX. She was a graduated from East Mountain High School and then went on to marry the love of her life Earnest "Buddy" Wilson. Shirley was devoted to her faith and was a long term member of Riverchase Church of Christ. She also had a love for golf and was a member of Ladies Inverness Golf Association. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years Earnest Wilson; sisters, Nelda Buckner and Bonnie Baird. Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Michael Vincent Wilson of Birmingham, AL, Mona Wilson Enstram (Ted) of Madison, MS; sister, Patricia Hackett (Bob); grandchildren, Megan and Scott Hodges, Lauren and Jordan Cantrell, Sarah and Jared Shore; great-grandchildren, Walker, Reid, and Graham Hodges, Libba and Wilson Cantrell, and Savanah Shore. A special thanks to Mozell Shelby her companion and sweet friend who cared for her with such love and dedication and also to Hubbled Beginnings for their care. A private family graveside service will be held in honor of Shirley.
