MURPHREE, REYNOLD "SI," age 54, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011. He was a proud, former U.S. Marine and was employed at Honda of Jasper, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Roper Guest. Survivors include Si's wife, Geralyn; children, Christina (Brion) Hutson, Grace, Rachel and Gabrielle Murphree; sisters, Joan Gibbs, Jane (Jim) Henry, and Lori (Paul) Whitman; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, and interment will be at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
