Stephanie Kingsley

Stephanie was born in Florence, Alabama on March 7, 1953, to the late Lloyd and Geraldine 'Jerri' White. She graduated Coffee High School in 1971 and went on to pursue both Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama.

Stephanie's love of children led her to a long and successful career as a teacher. Helping young people to discover a passion for learning and reading was one of her greatest joys in life.

A longtime resident of Montevallo, Alabama, Stephanie was the proud mother of two children and a beloved Mimi to a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest love and most outstanding achievement. She is survived by her son, John Bartlett Kingsley, Jr. (Amelia) and daughter Laura Kingsley Broadhead (Daniel) as well as granddaughters Elizabeth (Lizzy) Kingsley Broadhead, Taylor, Karli, and Madeline (Maddie). Great-grandchildren are Ryleigh, Aiden, and Payton.

A committal service for Stephanie will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM with visitation to follow from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Southern Heritage Cemetery, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
