Stephen Edward Cobb

Steve graduated from Escambia High School in Pensacola in 1968. At the University of Southern Mississippi where he was a proud member of the Pride of Mississippi Marching Band, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1972 and his Master of Science Degree in 1974.

Steve continued his college education, earning his Master of Fine Arts Degree in 1981 from the University of Mississippi and his Bachelor of Computer Science Degree in 1984 from Troy State University. After serving as a professor of journalism, he launched his professional career in computer programming, with BellSouth (1985-2007) and Regions Bank (2009-2015).

In his leisure, Steve played drums in several local bands. He was an avid photographer and loved relaxing in the outdoors.

Steve is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vickey Cobb; one sister, Beverly Lowe of Pensacola; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Annette Roberts of Pensacola; and numerous nieces and nephews.
