Steve was born in Hamburg, Iowa, on July 26, 1950. He spent his career working as a truck driver, a profession that allowed him to dedicate many years of hard work.
Outside of work, Steve enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved fishing, playing baseball, watching NFL football, and, most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He was considered the “life of the party” by those who knew him and always enjoyed a good laugh with his loved ones.
Steve is survived by his children, Travis Rose and Rosalia Lou Navarro; and his grandchildren, Emilio Navarro, Matias Navarro, and Diego Navarro. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the joy of knowing him.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Church of the Highlands, Riverchase Campus, 9013 Helena Rd, Pelham, AL 35124.
