OZTEKIN Sue G. passed away on September 29, 2012. Mrs. Oztekin was an Owner/Officer and driving force behind the success of the family business Kent Corporation. She was a Lifetime Master Judge and Master Gardner. Her love for the University of Alabama and the Football Team was proven by the family endowment of scholarships through The School of Engineering. She is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Mr. M.A. Oztekin, children, Suzanne Yayman, Mera (Jerry) Crews, Kent (Katherine)Oztekin and Aycil (Mike) Logan; grandchildren, Brian Lavett, Ann Layton Oztekin, Claire Oztekin, Shellie Hyde, Jason Hyde, Murat Yayman, Kaan Yayman and Ayca Yayman. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:00am at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. There will be a private burial for the family at Southern Heritage Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers to please make donations to the University Of Alabama’s School Of Engineering, or The Birmingham Humane Society in Mrs. Oztekin’s Memory.
