Tammy Bigham Poe

Tammy Gail Bigham-Poe, age 56, went to Heaven during her sleep at her Alpine, AL home on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. She enjoyed her horses at her Spanish Farms stables.

Tammy was predeceased by her father, Frank Bigham of Chelsea, AL. Survivors include Tammy's loving husband of 37 years, James Thomas "Tommy" Poe of Alpine; one son, Eric Anthony Poe (Angel) of Alpine; mother, Sue Langston-Bigham of Chelsea; father- and mother-in-law, Willie and Ruth Moore-Poe of Irondale, AL; grandchildren, Damein Poe, Draven Poe, Frank Poe, and Tristan Poe; daughter-in-law, Amber Poe; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Poe Hogan-Nolan (James) of Irondale; nephews, Elwood Leon Hogan III and Mason Nolan; and special uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. The Celebration of Tammy's Life will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Wooten Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Vestavia Hills, AL, with burial immediately following in the church cemetery. Pastor Todd will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Wooten Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
