Tanner always wore a smile and often stopped by my classroom to check on me and my son. He lived in my neighborhood with his brother, Zack. The last time I saw Tanner was a week ago at the stop sign at the entrance of our neighborhood. He rode up on his bike, lifted his visor, and said, "What's up, Ms. Campbell?" He thanked me for being a great teacher and expressed his appreciation for my support during difficult times. He acknowledged that my help played a significant role in getting him to where he is today. Tanner, you were a ray of sunshine for many. You will be missed.

Tanner was a bright light in every room he was in. If he noticed something was wrong he was talking to you and cracking jokes to make you feel better. I will never forget his smile, or how he was a good friend! I remember the school bus rides where our friend group would just talk and laugh. To the time he was at Little Caesar’s  and we all got pizza and just hung out. To the last time I saw him, I happened to run into him and we were catching up and he told me he got engaged and had a baby girl. Then of course he was going on about cars and his bike bc he loved them and I told him please be careful. 

I know Tanner has left a mark on his friends and the people he was around  at least he has on me, to be a better and brighter person. To never take anything for granted. Always be friendly and have a smile on your face no matter what may be going on. To enjoy the people you are around and laugh a little. 

I loved how he always had determination to always go above and beyond in whatever he was doing and how he always had a smile on his face. I loved him as a friend and I wish I would’ve said bye the last time I saw him.  I will forever share the memories and the type of person he was and how he always had a smile on his face to others in hope of keeping his memory and joy alive. 

Will forever miss you.

My name is Chance, and I worked as Tannar's supervisor for a few short months at Driver's Way, in the Recon department. I saw so much potential in him that I knew, even before he decided to move on from us, that he was so ready to grasp his maturity by the horns. I was hard on him about his work because I knew he could accomplish so much if only he could stoke the flames of his passion, and I made abundantly sure to have told him as much. 

I had such high hopes for him and his life as it was falling into place around him, and I'm truly and deeply saddened by his passing. There are no words for such a thing to come to pass. I extend my deepest condolences to his family, fiance, and children. We can only be calmed now to know that God, in his infinite grace, has him now in the boundless loving embrace of Heaven.
