Terry L Hall, 64, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on the morning of August 19, 2026 while on hospice at The Greenbriar at the Altamont in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born in Gadsden, Alabama on September 28, 1961.
Terry graduated from Etowah High School in Attalla, Alabama in1979. He also obtained several certifications including a Masters of Cosmetology, and worked as a hairdresser and cosmetologist for several salons, most recently for James Pierce Salon in the Edgewood community of Homewood, Alabama. He owned and operated Terry Hall Hair Design for many years.
Terry was a devoted member of Baptist Church of the Covenant. He had a passion for the Steel City Men’s Chorus, with which he served as a member and an officer.
Terry is survived by his brother, Phil Hall of Gadsden, Alabama; several cousins; and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Marion Hall; his mother, Marolyn Burrell Byars; and his step-father, Larry Estell Byars.
Terry was fortunate to maintain several relationships with friends from his youth and devoted clientele throughout his life.
Services for Terry will be on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Baptist Church of the Covenant, Birmingham. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Family and friends are also invited to the gravesite committal service and entombment at 3:30 p.m. on August 30 at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
