Terry graduated from Ensley High School. She was passionate about her roles of housewife, homemaker, parent, and grandparent. She especially enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with her family, and gardening.
Terry was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Ronald Lee Wiechman, and her parents, Margaret Dunnie Hooten and Hoyt Moses Hooten. She is survived by her children, Perry Skelton (Emily), Patrick Skelton, and Holly Rodgers (Brian); grandchildren, Chloe Weimer (Eric), Clara Skelton, Collier Skelton, Debbie Wiechman (Sherry), Gus Skelton, Ruby Skelton, Jack Rodgers, Maggie Rodgers, and Laura Rodgers; and one brother, Hoyt Hooten.
Visitation will be at Trinity United Methodist Church - Homewood Campus on Friday, October 16, 2026 from 10-11 a.m., followed by A Service of Thanks for Terry Ann Wiechman's Life at the large sanctuary at the church, 1400 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
