Thomas Milner, 76, of Indian Springs Village, passed away on June 1, 2018.
He was born in West End, Birmingham, Alabama on January 22, 1942. He attended West End High School and the University of Montevallo and the University of Hawaii with a focus on engineering. During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Air force and was stationed in Hawaii. He retired as an engineer with U.S. Pipe and Foundry. Thomas’ life was filled with loving and serving others with the Lord at the center of it all, and he was an elder for Metropolitan Church of God. He loved antiquing, traveling, and hunting.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mildred Lacey Milner.
Survivors include his wife Judith B. Milner; daughters, Sharon Morris, Deanna Dupree, Harriet Mantini; sisters, Peggy Eddins; grandchildren, Caleb Morris, Hannah Mantini, and Isabelle Mantini; nephew, Ed Eddins; and nieces Katherine Eddins and Ellen Beidler.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham, from 11-12pm on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018. A celebration of his life will begin at 12pm.
